Good to know

  • Future General Issue combinations begin with a number between 1 and 9, so remember to include this when using the combination checker.
  • This combination range is also compatible with our existing Motorcycle plate designs.
  • Designs compatible with this range are shown once you’ve entered your chosen combination into our combination checker.
  • General Issue plates will continue to be distributed on a ‘next available’ basis from Customer Service Centres and car dealerships. The sequencing of this line will continue to start with a 1 until all available combinations have been issued, at which point these combinations will start with a 2.
  • If a combination has been purchased as a Future General Issue custom plate online or at a Customer Service Centre (the expanded range is not available at car dealerships), this combination will be removed from the General Issue pool and won’t be available for purchase.
